Safety is an integral part of any service organization, and Hilltrux Tank Lines, Inc. is no exception to that rule.

We pride ourselves on our ability to get the product to the customer in safe, timely, courteous manner, regardless of the circumstances. Although there are situations that are beyond our control, our objective is to maintain our high standard of excellence that we continue to enjoy.

In the previous 12 month period, the Hilltrux fleet has traveled over 2,300,000 with zero (0) D.O.T. recordable accidents. This would result in an insurance loss ratio of 0%. Using 36 tractors, 39 trailers with 33 drivers we were on the road delivering product to our customers virtually 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. During this same period we have had a total of 4 moving violations. That is one (1) moving violation for every 625,000 miles traveled. That is comparable to the average motorist driving for 52 years, with only one (1) violation. Hilltrux Tank Lines, Inc. continues to enjoy a company growth of 10% in the previous year, 2007.

During 2007 and into the first five months of 2008, Hilltrux Tank Lines, Inc. D.O.T., violation free, roadside inspection rate was double the national average. Again, nationally, the violation rate for Hilltrux Tank Lines, Inc. was 10 times better than the national average, since employing our own maintenance division.

In 2007 and again in 2008, Hilltrux Tank Lines, Inc. was honored with two of our drivers receiving the Ohio Trucking Association's Driver of the Month Awards. Additionally, Hilltrux Tank Lines, Inc. received the Great west Casualty Company/American Trucking Association award for Outstanding Achievement in Highway Safety, for traveling between 1,000,000 and 3,000,000 accident free miles.
